Homemade Granola

I’m a huge granola fan! It’s been too long since I had to say goodbye to my favourite granola brands. You know why – they include lots of refined sugar and some other junk ingredients. I saw a few Instagrammers shared their healthy homemade granola recipes before and this inspired me to create mine.

Here is my version of granola guys, hope you try and like it 🙂

3 cup oats
1 cup hazelnut
1 cup almond
1/2 cup dried apricot
1/2 cup sultanas
1/2 cup coconut flakes
1/2 cup prunes
1/4 cup coconut oil
1/2 cup carob molasses
1/4 cup brown linseed
1/4 cup chia
1/2 cup cocoa nibs
1 tbsp cinnamon


  • Preheat the oven to 150C
  • Use a large tray and combine all the ingredients – except dried fruits. Bake in the oven for 30 mins, but every ten mins check the tray and mix.
  • Add the dried fruits in last ten mins.
  • After totally 30 mins, your granola is ready! First, it can be soft, but it will be getting more dried while cooling.

This granola can be kept in a cool, dry place for up to 2 weeks. You can also create your own recipe, it’s very easy to modify. You can be creative!

The formula is: oat + some nuts + some seeds + dried fruits + sweetener + healthy oil
